Data Collecting

Data Collecting implies webpage data extraction (data groups collecting) according to Data Collecting tab settings.

Data group is a set of data field values (one value per field), collected from a specific data collecting sector. Sectors are recognized according to Data Collecting->Sectors tab settings.

Data field is an informational unit of data collecting. E.g. depending on extraction source single data fields can be title of an article, article text, article category, item price, item photo etc.

If Datacol recognized several sectors in the webpage source code, each sector is analyzed to find one Data group.

Please note, that all Data group composing data fields, must be located on the same website page (or on the page, where link to the given page was found, i.e. Referer).
