Sectors

Data collecting can be implemented for entire page source code as well as for definite areas which further will be called Sectors.

Let's say we need to collect all the titles and announcements from the following page - http://kolchaka.net/category/parsery/ :

Note that Datacol will collect just one data group from each definite area (sector). Thus, the set of sectors is defined by strings of Page sector collecting Regex and Page sector collecting Xpath settings (one regex or xpath per string).

Instead of collecting data of all sectors you can select just definite ones: the first, the last, odd, even or number-range determined sectors.

Default sector collecting logic can be overrided by Sector collecting plugin. Please inspect this paragraph to find more information on Datacol plugin mechanism.
